0:36: I started watching this series only a few weeks ago and am currently binging them all. And having reached my 30th year of sobriety when Rebecca said: "not too much of the black stuff" with Drew's retort: "I promise", I knew all wasn't well with their relationship and that maybe, just maybe Drew fancied a tipple just like I did. So I googled him + battle with alcohol and low & behold I saw all the headlines about him giving up the grog and their divorce...such a pity as I've really enjoyed them as a couple and to now know that alcohol perhaps played a part in the demise of their marriage I feel rather sad for them all. It's funny how such an innocent throw-away line, which 99% of people would quietly chuckle to themselves, was seen by me as something much deeper inti the real state of the marriage.

Love Jodi's personally and taste in decor. One of my favorite shows as well. 🥰 btw thank you so much for uploading these, they're a real treat.

Can you imagine this show today? All these college kids would be moving back with mom and dad after graduation because they couldn't afford rent anywhere. So sad!!

So glad these shows are being uploaded. Jodi was one of my all time favorite people on HGTV. The rents are now double or more than they were when these originally aired. Regardless of that Jodi's decorating tips are still excellent!

I wonder why owners of scary house were moving. Seems like it was a great house for them. Too bad they couldn't find a buyer into their design asthetic. Not everyone wants light and bright. They should have eliminated the scary stuff and tried to market it as sophisticated and romantic. Might have sold without the massive paint project. Nowadays they could call it dark academia 😂. TFS

Younger people today have such unrealistic expectations about housing versus budget. I'm a senior citizen. When I was young, we found a place we could afford to rent close to our desired neighborhood. Period. I don't remember anyone whining about carpets, closets, or views.

Even though the first one looked small, it was quite open and bright and that would make it look big to me. I am also a minimalist so I wouldn't have many clothes or furniture, to begin with, and since I am renting not buying, I will choose the first one and save as much money as I want towards buying a home eventually. The major things I loved about the third home were the extra bathroom and location. I didn't like the fact that it has been lived in the kitchen looks outdated or that the rent is higher. I hardly ever have guests so I don't need the extra bathroom
